New Surface Design Development

INDIGO MUD RESISTS

A contemporary exploration of traditional resist printing, Indigo–Mud Resist combines hand-applied mud resist with bio-indigo dyeing to create deep blue surfaces and naturally preserved motifs. In MOONFLORA, LAC-dyed silk is layered with bio-indigo, allowing the resisted floral forms to retain their soft lavender character against an intense indigo ground. Each piece reflects the interaction of natural colour, handmade process, and controlled surface design.
